Wind Speed and Direction Transmitter
The wind speed and wind direction sensor is specifically designed for long-term outdoor meteorological and environmental monitoring, offering outstanding durability and high-precision measurement capabilities. It ensures stable operation in harsh environments such as reservoirs, rivers, water supply pipelines, and wastewater treatment facilities. Built with an IP68 robust submersible enclosure, the sensor provides superior dustproof and waterproof protection, eliminating the need for additional protective housings. This allows direct deployment in outdoor sites, greatly simplifying installation and reducing maintenance costs. Equipped with a 1000 N Kevlar-reinforced tensile cable, it supports data transmission over distances of up to 1.2 km, making it ideal for remote areas or wide-area monitoring applications. The device supports Modbus RTU / RS-485 digital communication protocols and features remote configuration, calibration, and automatic fault diagnosis. With the included setup and data analysis software, calibration can be performed in the laboratory and then directly transferred to field installations, ensuring high accuracy while saving time and effort. Widely applicable in agriculture, automatic weather stations, climate research, industrial processes, and urban environmental monitoring, the sensor’s ultra-low power consumption makes it particularly suitable for sites with limited or no power supply.
