Ultrasonic Flow Velocity and Level Meter
The ultrasonic flow and level meter is specifically designed for irregular open-channel water bodies such as rivers, drainage canals, and stormwater sewers. Utilizing the Doppler ultrasonic principle, it simultaneously measures instantaneous flow velocity and water level to calculate accurate flow rates. Equipped with IP68-rated protection, the device is suitable for long-term submersion in harsh field conditions, including during heavy rainfall, flooding, or at unattended monitoring sites. The Doppler flow meter supports RS-485 communication with Modbus RTU protocol, enabling seamless integration with SCADA systems or remote data platforms. An embedded auto-compensation algorithm adjusts for water level variations, background noise, and potable water interference, significantly improving flow measurement stability. When paired with an AQUAS data logger or cloud platform, the system supports real-time data upload and abnormal event alerts. This solution is widely applied in urban flood prevention, water resource management, and regulatory monitoring in compliance with EPA standards.
