After the water sample is digested in a specific buffer medium, the silver ions (Ag⁺) present in the sample react with the high-selectivity chromogenic reagent 3,5-Br₂-PADAP (2,6-bis(2-bromophenylazo)-4-amino phenol) to form a stable red-colored complex. This complex exhibits a distinct absorption peak at a specific wavelength and is measured using the photometric colorimetric method. By detecting the absorbance, the system calculates the total silver (Ag) concentration in the sample based on a calibration curve. This method offers excellent sensitivity, selectivity, and reaction stability, making it ideal for precise monitoring of silver content in environmental water samples, industrial process water, and wastewater. It enables users to accurately assess trace silver pollution levels and ensure regulatory compliance. | ||||||||
