Semiconductor-based Smart Water Quality Monitoring Solution
United Stares Formosa Petrochemical Corporation's Louisiana Plant in the United States |
Formosa Petrochemical Corporation's Louisiana plant, the largest petrochemical facility in North America, spans 1011 hectareswith a total investment of approximately 9.26 billion US dollars. It utilizes over 100 sets of AQUAS water quality analyzers, including pH, ORP, conductivity, salinity, dissolved oxygen, suspended solids, and water level sensors, for real-time monitoring of effluent water quality and level on-site. This ensures the protection of surrounding water environments, with immediate alerts issued in case of exceedances to prevent pollution incidents.
